House and Senate Immigration Reform Bills Compared

Last week, the U.S. Senate passed S. 2611, the Comprehensive Immigration Reform Act (CIRA)--the Senate's answer to a drastically different House immigration reform bill passed six months ago, which inspired massive nationwide protests.
As we speak, members of the House and Senate are attempting to reason out a compromise initiative that will satisfy the President and both houses of Congress. Will this even be possible? Nobody really knows, but any final piece of compromise legislation will probably incorporate elements from both the House and Senate bills.
